When Gujarat is constantly making progress on path of development, the state's safety and security undeniably play a major role in the same.
In contemporary times, internet users have increased exponentially in the world including Gujarat. The government is also promoting net banking and e-commerce. In this scenario, one cannot deny that chances of cybercrimes are high. Thus, Gujarat Police have a special responsibility to ensure economic safety of the citizens by prevention of cybercrimes.
The state government has set up cybercrime police stations especially for prevention and quick investigation of cybercrimes. Alongside, modernizing and training in latest technology for the state police is made a non-stop and evolving process so that the force remains updated.
I would like to congratulate the state police for gaining trust and confidence of the citizens by solving most difficult of cybercrimes and continuous efforts to prevent such crimes in Gujarat.
My heartiest wishes for the state to become one of the foremost states in curbing cybercrimes by cooperation of the state's citizens and police.
